This screen allows you to search for unregistered land documents by subdivision and lot number, providing you a geographic index of documents.
To choose the subdivision for which to search for documents, follow these steps:
If you want to narrow your search even further, select a particular lot in the subdivision (optional). The Lot dropdown list will contain valid lots for the selected subdivision, in alphabetical order. (NOTE: Since the lots are in alphabetical order, NOT numerical order, you might not find the lot where you expect it to be. For example, if a subdivision has lots 1-10, they will appear in the following order: 1, 10, 2, 3…). Click the down arrow on the dropdown list and select a lot from the list. If there are many lots in the list, you can type the first character of the lot number to jump to the first matching lot. You may then have to scroll down to find the lot you need.
You may also narrow your search to encumbrances or conveyances by selecting the appropriate option, or limit the documents to a certain party name or date range (optional).
Once you have entered the search criteria you want to use, click the Search button. You will see the Geographic Index screen listing all documents matching your search criteria.
