Geographic Index

This screen shows a list of all documents with the same legal description(s), providing an electronic chain of title. For each document, the list includes the legal description, document date, official record book and page, conveyor, and conveyee. Documents are sorted by legal description, document date (starting with the most recent), and conveyor name. Legal descriptions are formatted as follows:

• For straight and part lots, the subdivision name is shown first, then the lot number, followed by "PT" for partial lots.
• For metes and bounds descriptions, the section, town, and range are shown, separated by slashes, followed by the township name. The acreage, dimensions, and irregular flag are also shown to help you identify a particular parcel.

For all descriptions, the Auditor's parcel number is also shown if it was available on the document.

By default, the screen shows all documents within the given geographic area (unless you indicated otherwise on the search screen). To view only encumbrances or conveyances, click the respective option button at the top of the page.

Click the book/page number to view the detail for a particular document.
