Viewing Lot/Unit Sheets

 

When a parcel of land is subdivided, or cut up, into separate parcels, the Recorder's Office creates a lot/unit sheet to keep track of the certificates for the individual parcels and their new owners. When this occurs, the certificate for the original piece of land becomes the "parent" certificate, and each subdivided parcel is a "child" certificate. The lot/unit sheet is associated with the parent certificate only. Therefore, the option to view the lot/unit sheet is only available when you are viewing a parent certificate.

 

NOTE: Lot/unit sheets are created only when the land is subdivided into five or more separate parcels.
